How does the Pay now button work on the invoice?

With QuickBooks Payments, you can securely email an invoice with a Pay now button. You can provide your customers with the option to pay by credit card, Apple Pay, or bank payment. It’s up to you. When your customer opens the online invoice, they can click “Pay now” and choose from the payment options you’ve selected. When your customer pays you, your books will auto-update and your money will be auto-deposited into your bank account.^*

QuickBooks Online Discount Offer Terms: Discount applied to the monthly or annual list price for QuickBooks Online EasyStart, Essentials, Plus or Advanced (“QBO”) as stated above, starting from the date of enrollment, followed by the then-current monthly or annual base price (depending upon your purchase). QuickBooks Payments: QuickBooks Payments account subject to eligibility criteria, credit, and application approval. Subscription to QuickBooks Online required. Money movement services are provided by Intuit Payments Inc., licensed as a Money Transmitter by the New York State Department of Financial Services.

The Promotion Terms: Starting on 12:01 AM (ET) on November 1, 2023 and ending on 11:59 PM (ET) on December 15, 2023 (the "Enrollment Period"), if you opt in to the QuickBooks Payments cash back offer within the Enrollment Period and meet the minimum processing and other eligibility requirements set forth in these Promotion Terms, QuickBooks will issue a one-time cash back reward of $500 based on your Payments transaction volume processed by 11:59 PM (ET) on March 31, 2024 starting from your opt-in date (the “Promotion Period”). You will earn $500 cash back when you have processed $20,000 in credit card payments on QuickBooks. Your cash back will be issued in the form of an EFT credit to your Payments deposit account, which should appear within 60 days following the date you have processed $20,000 or more in credit card payments, or the end of the Promotion Period (the "Cash Back Period"), whichever occurs first.

Eligibility Requirements: You must satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for this Promotion:

1. Successfully opt into the Promotion by 11:59 PM (ET) on December 15, 2023 pursuant to these Promotion Terms above;
2. Maintain an active subscription to at least one of the following products throughout the Promotion Period and the Cash Back Period: QuickBooks Online EasyStart, QuickBooks Online Essentials, QuickBooks Online Plus, or QuickBooks Online Advanced;
3. Your QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments accounts must both be open and in good standing throughout the Promotion Period and the Cash Back Period;
4. All processed Payments during the Promotion Period must be for bona fide purchase of products or services sold by you.

Ineligible Payments: Payments that are refunded, reversed, returned, or held for fraud or risk, during the Promotion Period or the Cash Back Period will not earn any cash back. However, if funds are released from the fraud or risk hold during the Promotion Period, they will count towards the cash back calculation. If this causes your processing volume to fall below $20,000 total, you will no longer be eligible for a cash back reward, but will be eligible to continue to process further credit card payments and reach the $20,000 total again, provided the Promotion Period has not yet ended.

Additional Terms: Offer is non-transferable; any reproduction, purchase, sale, or trade of this Offer is prohibited. Any taxes due on cash back rewards are the sole responsibility of the QuickBooks Payments account holder. Offer terms, conditions, features, pricing, service and support are subject to change without notice.

QuickBooks reserves the right to determine, in its discretion, whether an account is closed or in good standing. If either your QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Payments account becomes closed or not in good standing for any reason at any time during the Promotion Period or the Cashback Period, or we determine that you have not satisfied these Promotion Terms, including any eligibility requirement, you will no longer be eligible for this Promotion and your participation, and any cash back that you may have earned, will be forfeited.

Next day deposits: Next-day deposit features are subject to eligibility criteria. For next day deposits, payments processed before 3:00 PM PT arrive at your bank the next business day (excluding weekends and holidays). Deposit times may vary for other payment methods, third party delays or risk reviews. Your first deposits take a bit longer while we set up your merchant account. Subscription to QuickBooks Online may be required.
